I love that this place felt like home. The casita we stayed in was equipped with dishes, extra heaters and blankets, which was nice. The breakfast dining room was the by far the best. The chef and staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious, the New Mexican style breakfast in front of the wood burning fire place was perfect for the aesthetic of this place. Let's not forget the hot tub area, I enjoyed the privacy and serene ambiance. Our stay here was perfect!
Cobwebs left in rooms. Keys can be EASILY copied. Which is sketchy and concerning with security on mind. There is no night attendant if you need anything.. Yet they have the nerve to charge the same as Hilton. Outdated ice machine. The kitchen where they cook looks dirty and sketchy. Definitely does not have regular amenities a regular hotel does. Not even a pool. It's just a bunch of worn out buildings surrounding a nice garden. And they use boutique and antique as an excuse to leave things broken, worn out or dirty. The rooms look like an Arizona gas station threw up in it. It's almost a mockery to the Southwest. Then the owners boast native American art while being the most vanilla white people I've ever seen. It's disgusting folks are making money off of indigenous peoples actual TALENT. At least if the owners were native I'd have more respect. But caucasian folks exploiting our artwork in their hotel for financial gain just seems so disrespectful. Just a rundown place with owners that use "antique" fascination to sell them. And as an excuse to get out of doing necessary maintenance and upkeep.
This hotel is an absolute gem! The pictures on the website don't do it justice. This is a historic property, so does have quirks, but is clearly well maintained and the owners are doing a ton of work to modernize it while keeping with the original architecture. We stayed in the Secret Garden casitas which had a hot tub in the room, private patio, AND a private driveway. Has many modern security measures such as ample lighting, modern locks, and security cameras. The staff were AMAZING! Friendly, professional and very helpful. The made to order breakfast was outstanding as well. We will absolutely be back!
We stayed here for one night on our way to Phoenix and absolutely loved it! Such a good location to walk to old town for restaurants, shops, and everything else. The staff here was so great and helpful giving us some of the history and a full tour of the property. The rooms were very nice with a historic charm. Breakfast… was so delicious!! It was also nice to place an order rather than your typical continental breakfast. If/when back in Albuquerque we will definitely stay here again!
What a wonderful welcome to Albuquerque we received upon arrival at Casa de Suenos, followed by great comfort and care throughout our stay. The property is within easy walking distance of many restaurants and attractions, but set well away …
If you’re looking for a sleek modern place, go to Hotel Albuquerque or Chaco. If you want a cozy, comfortable place with room to spread out and feel like home, this is the place for you! We stayed in the Ivy Cottage and loved it. Comfortable bed, lovely fireplace and living room. The casitas are old and quirky as you’d expect in an historic building. The grounds are lovely-we were there in January but I imagine in spring it would be amazing. Every person we interacted with was top notch. The made to order breakfast was delicious.
We will definitely stay here again!
Beautiful and tranquil. Was, at one time, an artist colony and beautiful art, and mosaics are everywhere. Radiance went above and beyond with checking us in and attending to our needs. The breakfast was delicious (Gino makes a mean omelet) …
Stayed here a night. The property is really great. Perfectly appointed casitas, new hot tub and pool area perfect for a chilly night, over the top service. Casitas are situated around a beautiful courtyard. I think the value was outstanding. The place looks a little aged if you are just driving by, but all on the inside is beautiful, warm, and comfy.
